Born in Sydney, Stephen has been illustrating for children since 1974. He has illustrated hundreds of stories and cartoon strips for The School Magazine, as well as many books such as COCKY COLIN (Richard Tulloch) and AUSSIE BITES (Margaret Mahy).

Sherryl Clark was born in New Zealand and after spending some time overseas, arrived in Australia at the age of 22. After completing a Bachelor of Arts, she worked as a community writer for fifteen years. She now teaches writing to adults in TAFEs and community centres around Melbourne. Sherryl is the author of numerous picture books and novels for children including the popular middle-reader novel Up a Tree, three highly successful Aussie Bites, The Too-Tight Tutu, Tiger Trouble and Batter Up!, two Aussie Nibbles, The Littlest Pirate and Susie the Lifesaver and an Aussie Chomp, Boots and All.
