David Cox grew up in outback Queensland where he spent some years working on sheep and cattle stations. At the age of twenty-one he set off to England to study art at St Martins School of Art. His first illustration commission was with Puffin Books in the UK that same year.

Born in Moree, NSW, Moya has been writing for children for over 10 years. Her very first book, Iggy from Outer Space, was published by Omnibus. Her writing is humorous, light and adventurous. She has been shortlisted for YABBA twice (Dead Average - an Omnibus book from Scholastic Australia) and for the WAYRA award.
