Nick Riley and Mark Hills live next door to Mr Head who mistreats his dog and in an attempt to prevent this, Nick is beaten up by Head’s two henchmen, Mad Pig and Beale.
Nick enters the house again when Mr Head is out to retrieve his skateboard & steals two sets of tickets for a rock concert and for the AFL Grand Final. He is later caught by the police selling tickets and is taken to Head’s house to verify his story, but Head has been murdered.
Nick thinks he is a police suspect and while watching the house he is shocked to see Mad Pig enter the semi-detached house next door. Nick guesses the two houses are linked and he notifies the police, but is kidnapped by Beale and Mad Pig.
Mark looks for Nick in Head's house and discovers a hidden space behind a false wall with steps into the roof. Nick is not there, but Mark finds the remains of a drug-packaging operation. He tells the police, but will they find Nick in time?
