David Miller is a Melbourne-based illustrator who specialises in paper sculpture. His first book was You Can Make Paper Sculptures, which was quickly followed by the acclaimed Boo to a Goose by Mem Fox. David’s most recent book with Lothian was Refugees (March 2004). David lives in Wonga Park, Victoria.

Robin Lovell was born in Plymouth in England, and moved to Australia in 1951. He spent over twenty years working as a writer-based creative director in advertising, meeting David Miller during this time, who was an art director. After travelling the world with his work, he left advertising in 1987 and since then has written freelance in a variety of media. Robin is married with two children, and lives in Tootgarook, Victoria.
