Button follows the journey of a beautiful red button on a smart coat, who one day
decides he wants to see the world. He pulls and stretches and pulls again until,
ping!, he is free, and so his journey begins. On the way he meets a host of odd
characters, including Wolf (from Sara Fanelli’s picture book of the same name),
three little pigs (although not the three little pigs), and a sad, homeless snail, until
eventually his travels bring him back full-circle, right to the very place where he
started.
With its smooth matte black cover, adorned only by a bright red button that can be
turned to reveal a different character through each hole, this stylish picture book is
a masterpiece of design, and has a strong crossover appeal to the adult market.
