Mick Manning and Brita Granstrom’s first book together, The World is Full of Babies, won the Smarties Silver Award in 1996 and their second book, What’s Under the Bed? took the TES Junior Information Book Award in 1997. In 2000, Wash, Scrub, Brush! won the UK English Association’s non fiction award for the best picture book with Let’s Party making the shortlist in 2001.

Karen Wallace is the author of more than ninety books, including the novel Raspberries on the Yangtze and the picture books I Am a Tyrannosaurus and Think of an Eel. Karen also writes for childrens television. She lives with her husband, novelist Sam Llewellyn; two sons, Will and Martin; and two Maine Coon cats, Cougar and Dave, in England.
