Anna Pignataro teaches art to children and exhibits regularly in galleries in Australia and overseas. Her first book, I'm in the Sky and I Can't Come Back, was joint winner of the Crichton Award (1998); The Staircase Cat was shortlisted for CBCA Picture Book of the Year (1999); Unknown was a CBCA Notable Book (2001) and published in the US. Anna lives in Rosebud, Victoria.

Margaret Hamilton has been involved with children and their books all her working life--as a children's librarian, a bookseller, a publisher and a parent. Her publishing company, Margaret Hamilton Books, achieved considerable international success and a reputation for high quality books. Margaret has also been committed to the Children's Book Council of Australian for four decades, serving as the National President and Convenor of the First National Conference. For her services to children's literature, Margaret has been honoured with the CBCA NSW Lady Cutler Award, the ABPA Pixie Harris Award and the CBCA Nan Chauncy Award.
